Philadelphia, PA - August 9, 2023 — DiverseForce is thrilled to announce the launch of its GameChangers Accelerator, launching September 26, 2023 at the P4 Hub. This initiative is part of a larger mission to transform Philadelphia into the nation's leading diverse tech hub, a vision supported by the City of Philadelphia's Commerce Department.

The GameChangers Accelerator is tailored for underrepresented Black and Brown Philadelphians aspiring to break into the tech space, boost their tech skills, or advance their careers or entrepreneurial endeavors by leveraging technology. To bring this vision to life, DiverseForce collaborated with instructional partners from DVNC to design a curriculum that places AI at its core. By integrating the engaging nature of game design, DiverseForce has created an immersive AI learning experience that teaches the in-demand skills required for future job and business success.

The Beginner-Intermediate course offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes AI, No-Code Programming, Design (UX/UI), Project Management, and Digital Marketing. Participants will gain cutting-edge training, AI resources, a professional portfolio and website, certification for completing the course, and access to a thriving community of industry professionals, mentors, and like-minded individuals. One of the standout takeaways is that participants will leave the program with a no-code app they built, based on a game idea they'll work on during the course. Furthermore, the program will unlock premium-paying apprenticeships and career opportunities, connecting graduates to employers committed to hiring and upskilling program participants, a step towards cultivating a more diverse and inclusive tech industry.
 

In 2023, DiverseForce was selected by the City of Philadelphia's Commerce Department as one of six organizations to help transform Philadelphia into the nation's leading diverse tech hub. With this support, DiverseForce is able to offer full scholarships covering all tuition and materials fees for eligible participants in the 2023 pilot year.
