Philadelphia, PA - January 10, 2023 - DiverseForce is pleased to announce its BBEx Wealth & Politics Summit, featuring a Mayoral Forum, to be held on Sunday, January 15th from 2:00pm-6:30pm at the P4 Hub in Philadelphia.
Held on the eve of Martin Luther King Jr. Day and just days before Black History Month, this event is for members of the BBEx Network, DiverseForce’s talent network of over 20,000+ professionals of color, as well as the general public who can attend via live stream, produced by media partner We Talk Weekly.
The Summit will provide attendees with the opportunity to learn about how they can drive economic impact in the Black community by leveraging their skill sets, entrepreneurial innovation, spending power, and vote. Summit activities include a Passive & Active Wealth Building panel discussion with prominent cross-sector business leaders, and a Keynote Address by Activist and Author of Our Black Year, Maggie Anderson.
The event will culminate with a Meet the Candidates Mayoral Forum, a part of Every Voice, Every Vote, a collaborative project of The Lenfest Institute for Journalism with lead support provided by the William Penn Foundation. The Forum is an important opportunity for attendees to meet the candidates running for Mayor of Philadelphia and hear their positions on topics related to the economic advancement of Philadelphia's Black community. Sulaiman Rahman, CEO and Founder of DiverseForce/BBEx Network, and Regina A. Hairston, President and CEO at the African American Chamber of Commerce of PA, NJ & DE, will help guide the conversation as moderators to represent the vision, the voice and the value of their communities of Black talent and Black businesses in the region.

The future of Philadelphia is on the ballot in 2023, and together with our Every Voice Every Vote partners, we want to help elevate the voices and concerns of all Philadelphians.”
The Summit will feature event partners including the African American Chamber of Commerce of PA, NJ, & DE (AACC), National Association of African Americans in HR (NAAAHR) Philadelphia Chapter, Blacks in Technology Foundation (BIT) Philadelphia Chapter, For(bes) The Culture, DiverseForce On Boards (DFOB), Black Dollar Network, Shoppe Black, PA Chamber for Black Owned Business (PACBOB), and We Talk Weekly.
